We talked about it this morning and watched news coverage. It is so sad to think that all of those men won't be coming home. S.C said she couldn't imagine her dad not coming home. We have left a message to all the people in Greymouth and we hope that they can feel happy again some time soon. we have learnt what R.I.P means and we hope that those me do.<br />All of our love to Greymouth.Mrs Reid and cohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09781064564227437921noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6739795333996429066.post-81719258948551483542010-10-14T14:32:00.000-07:002010-10-14T14:36:27.442-07:00A BIG HELLO TO YOU MINA<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TLd3TVhAjQI/AAAAAAAAAVo/zRWE3fo-LvA/s1600/class+pics+for+blog+002.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5528018241697385730" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TLd3TVhAjQI/AAAAAAAAAVo/zRWE3fo-LvA/s320/class+pics+for+blog+002.jpg" /></a><br /><br />One of our old classmates has sent us a message so we want to send a huge hello and lots of love to M.C-A and we hope you are having a wonderful time in China.Mrs Reid and cohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09781064564227437921noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6739795333996429066.post-30883261957629570102010-09-21T16:01:00.000-07:002010-09-21T16:13:51.442-07:00Te Tahawai MaraeAt the end of our Inquiry topic we went to visit Te Tahawai Marae in Pakuranga. It was a wonderful afternoon where we got to learn a bit about life on a marae, its customs and traditions along with having a drink and a bikky.<br /><br />This video shows us being called onto the marae. You can see the women go in first to show that we are friendly and the men follow behind. Once on the marae however it is the men who do the talking and thewomen who sit in the back.<br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwfcli6yh3puNOj9p6eeqe3L2q71ff1M6OhsW_AzaJyHKqzLnFthkJIU7CPW1Y2-GIq7vdh1Q31WAsb6gsPJA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe>Mrs Reid and cohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09781064564227437921noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6739795333996429066.post-21896743211991245122010-09-07T12:31:00.001-07:002010-09-07T12:34:50.790-07:00A New Zealand Forest<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTlYBsZtI/AAAAAAAAAVg/kRPsojOlyBY/s1600/P080910_07.28%5B02%5D.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514257064075749074" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTlYBsZtI/AAAAAAAAAVg/kRPsojOlyBY/s320/P080910_07.28%5B02%5D.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTlBxulaI/AAAAAAAAAVY/KoLiKPA1rjY/s1600/P080910_07.28%5B01%5D.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514257058103203234" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTlBxulaI/AAAAAAAAAVY/KoLiKPA1rjY/s320/P080910_07.28%5B01%5D.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTkwZhVgI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/DfaE0_MKBQ4/s1600/P080910_07.28.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514257053438268930" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTkwZhVgI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/DfaE0_MKBQ4/s320/P080910_07.28.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTknD2fzI/AAAAAAAAAVI/8LTX3Ea-pWc/s1600/P080910_07.27.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514257050931461938" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uU3DZzLWKSM/TIaTknD2fzI/AAAAAAAAAVI/8LTX3Ea-pWc/s320/P080910_07.27.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>We have been looking at our wonderful forests and what makes them so special.
